What makes our beds so unique?
 
Wood selection:
All woods have short transport routes behind them and are made of one piece.
We attach great importance  to careful wood selection, cutting processes up to the surface of the wood.
 
Origin:
The stone pine comes from the South Tyrolean Alpine region and grows between 1400m and 2500m altitude. It is particularly well-known for its essential oils, which ensure a peaceful and restful sleep.
The cherry wood was felled in the Lenggrieser region in winter. This is more dimensionally stable than the wood harvested in summer.
 
The smell:
Even when we cut and plan the wood in the workshop, each wood unfolds its own scent. The stone pine in particular supports your pleasant night's sleep. 
 
Thoughtful:
The frame wood (optionally cherry, ash, oak or walnut) is much harder than pine and was therefore used for the bed frame and feet  to make these areas more resistant to signs of wear.
The surface was extremely finely ground and left unsealed; this allows the essential oils of the stone pine to unfold freely in the room.
 
Precision:
The connections are made with a modern 5-axis CNC milling machine.
 
Stability:
Stone pine is too soft for these thin feet, so we  made the frame wood out of hardwood. Here are also the main joints that make the bed stable.
 
true to detail:
This piece of furniture was planned and manufactured with great attention to detail.
Strong curves on the cherry wood make it look and feel supple.
The bed elements are carefully arranged to match the grain and color tone of the wood to your furniture.
Felts were glued under the feet to protect the floor.
 
Design:
Due to the separate frame construction, the bed has a very light appearance.
The stone pine boards were optically separated from the frame wood by a strong joint, so that they even have a floating effect.
 
joinery:
Of course, our signature should not be missing on this bed. It is engraved on one foot with the CNC, guaranteeing the quality of the joinery.
